■ Oregon will try to match the school record 15 straight wins when they host Cal tonight.

The Ducks (16-2, 5-0 Pac-12) host California on Thursday in Matthew Knight Arena (6 p.m., ESPN2). The UO men will be playing for their 15th straight victory, which would match the school record set 104 years ago, in a stretch spanning two seasons over 1912 and 1913.

■ Oregon flew by osu in the latest chapter of the Civil War last night at MKA 85-43. Adam Eberhardt shares game photos.

The Oregon men dominated the 347th edition of the Civil War on Saturday evening, winning 85-43 to win their 14th straight game, one shy of the school record. The margin was the largest ever by the Ducks in a Civil War victory, surpassing a 29-point win in 2002.

■ Chris Boucher scored 29 points to lead Oregon to a 85-61 win over Washington St. yesterday in Pullman.

What It Means: Oregon swept the Washington trip for the first time since the 2012-13 season. The Ducks now return home for next Saturday's Civil War with a chance to extend their winning streak to 14 games, which would be the Ducks' longest in 70 years.

Willie Taggart will meet his full roster today for the first time where he will lay down the ground rules.

"We're going to set a standard that we're going to hold everyone accountable to live up to and see who are the guys who want to live up to those standards," Taggart said Friday during a guest appearance on an in-house UO radio show. "The guys that don't want to live up to those standards might find themselves somewhere else."

■ Junior third baseman Jenna Lilley plus former Ducks Janie Takeda and Jessica Moore have all been named to the USA Softball senior national team, the organization announced Friday.

Duck Stuff: Tuesday Edition

Dillon Brooks has been named Pac-12 player of the week and national player of the week yesterday. Oregon also rose to #15 in the latest AP poll after beating USC and UCLA.

The 6-7 junior forward from Mississauga, Ontario, averaged 25.5 points on 60 percent shooting (18-of-30), 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game as Oregon opened Pac-12 play with home victories over previously unbeaten and nationally ranked teams UCLA and USC. The Ducks became the first team to defeat unbeaten and ranked conference opponents in back-to-back games since Kentucky in 2004.

■ Andrew Greif reports that Keith Heyward (Louisville) will be joining Willie Taggart's staff.
