Duck Stuff: Wednesday Edition

Rob Moseley reviews the linebackers heading into the new season.

Who to watch in August: There’s a lot to sort out for Don Pellum, who is back focusing on this position group after two years juggling his time as coordinator as well. Ragin made a consistently strong case in April for playing time, but from the sideline it was hard to conclude that anybody else made a definitive push for a starting job. That should make for a very interesting month of preseason camp, as the jockeying for reps continues. The linebackers all have a chance to take what they learned in April and apply it to their summer workouts. Perhaps come August, a clear pecking order will have emerged. has a good series that follows the softball team through the 2016 season as they prepare for the playoffs which start Friday.

The baseball team won the game against Portland that was stopped due to weather earlier this year 6-1 and then went on to win again 15-4 in the second game.

On Deck: Oregon hosts Arizona this weekend in a crucial Pac-12 series, with the Ducks just three games behind first-place Utah. Game one is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday and will be aired on Pac-12 Networks.
