Duck Stuff: Tuesday Edition

Kevin Gemmell believes Royce Freeman will likely run for over a 1K yards this season. Pretty good bet I'd say.

Give to Freeman. Rinse, repeat. He might not do as many things as McCaffrey. But what he does do -- which is being a pure running back -- he does extremely well. The first half of the season features some very good and some very bad rush defenses. But 1,000 yards should come sooner than later.

■ The baseball team got past St. Mary's 2-1 behind strong pitching yesterday in the final home game of the season.

On Deck: The Ducks will travel to Palo Alto, Calif. to wrap up the regular season with a three-game Pac-12 series against Stanford from Thursday to Saturday. Thursday and Friday’s game will both begin at 7 p.m., and Saturday’s game will start at 1 p.m. All three games will be on Pac-12 Networks.

A win is a win. And yeah, I think 1,000 is a given.
