Duck Stuff: Tuesday Edition

Rob Moseley reports that defensive coordinator Don Pellum has been demoted to linebackers coach and Erik Chinander has accepted a position to become the defensive coordinator at another FBS institution.

"Don is a great man who has helped shape the culture and growth of Oregon Football in several different capacities for nearly 30 years," Helfrich said. "He's committed, as we all are, to being part of the solution to improve the end results on the field."

A national search for a new defensive coordinator will commence immediately.

■ Bralon Addison has declared for the NFL draft passing up his senior season with Oregon.

Ted Miller says the "next man up" mantra sometimes isn't good enough.

■ Andrew Greif says Dakota Prukop is on campus and Oregon is ready to turn the page plus Morgan Mahalak has asked and received his release from the football program.

Hope Dakota has something good to share. Too bad we need FCS coaches to prepare our quarterbacks.
