■ Oregon plays host to undefeated USC (14-0) tonight at Matthew Knight arena. The game will be carried locally by FS1.

Oregon's winning streak at Matthew Knight Arena is currently at 34 games, which is the longest string of home wins in UO history. Oregon last dropped a home game Jan. 8, 2015 (Arizona, 80-62). Two of Oregon's four longest home winning streaks have come under Dana Altman.

■ Andrew Greif reports Willie Taggart has hired Donte Pimpleton as the next running backs coach.

Pimpleton has worked with new Ducks coach Willie Taggart at South Florida since 2015 but their connection dates to the 1990's when their playing careers overlapped at Western Kentucky.

Duck Stuff: Saturday Edition

Rob Moseley has a season review for the linebackers.

■ Willie Taggart has added Jimmie Dougherty as the wide receivers coach it was announced yesterday.

Dougherty comes to Oregon after spending a year under Jim Harbaugh at Michigan, serving as an offensive analyst for the nation's 12th-best scoring team (41.0 ppg). Prior to joining Harbaugh in Ann Arbor, Dougherty worked for three seasons (2013-15) as assistant head coach, wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator at San Jose State. While with the Spartans, Dougherty helped run an offense that set 10 single-season team records and saw players establish more than 35 individual school marks.

Andrew Greif reports Gary Campbell plans on leaving Oregon as the running backs coach.

In a message sent to his nearly 6,000 followers on Twitter Friday afternoon, Campbell indicated that his run as the longest-tenured college football assistant at one school has ended.

Two osu football players, Bubba and Tiny, were taking an important exam. If they failed, they would be on academic probation and not allowed to play in the big game the following week. Bubba was stumped -- he had no idea what to answer, but he knew he needed to get this one right to be sure he passed. Making sure the teacher wasn't watching, he tapped Tiny in the shoulder. Tiny laughed, then looked around to make sure the professor hadn't noticed. He turned to Bubba and said, "Bubba, you're so stupid. Everyone knows that Old MacDonald had a FARM."
