Duck Stuff: Wednesday Edition

Rob Moseley reports five players earned Pac-12 first team All-Conference honors yesterday and DeForest Buckner was named Pac-12 defensive player of the year..

Running back Royce Freeman, offensive lineman Tyler Johnstone, defensive end DeForest Buckner and placekicker Aidan Schneider were named first-team all-Pac-12 along with Charles Nelson, as an all-purpose/special teams player. Freeman, Buckner and Nelson were second-team picks a season ago.

Oregon moved up one spot to #16 in the latest CFP rankings.

■ Andrew Greif (along with many others) reports that Scott Frost has accepted the head coaching position at Central Florida.

John Canzano doesn't understand Frost's decision and what it means for the Ducks. Vernon Adams thanked coach Frost and the Oregon Duck had a small rant on Twitter about the decision.

Interesting take by Canzano. I didn't realize Central Florida was that bad.
