Duck Stuff: Friday Edition

■ Chantel Jennings says Vernon Adams will  have quite a story to tell his son Kash about his college career. (good read)

He’ll tell Kash these stories in part to relive the year that started in Cheney, Washington, traveled 450 miles southwest to Eugene and went so much further, but also in the hope that Kash will learn from his experience.

“I hope he’s a fighter,” Adams Jr. said. “There’s going to be ups and downs and when the downs come, don’t get down on yourself. I hope he comes to me, to his mom. ... Bad is going to come and good is going to come. I just hope he keeps his head up.”

■ Tyson Alger says Jeff Lockie is taking one game at a time.

■ Nate Costa has been trying to get the full time QB coach's job now that Scott Frost has left for Central Florida.

■ Walk-on lineman Mike Miller talks about being on the scout team.

■ Bryant Knox wonders if Dakota Prukop can be Vernon Adams 2.0.

The important difference to note between Adams’ arrival and Prukop’s is that the latter will have more time to adjust to the offense assuming there are no unexpected transfer complications...
