Duck Stuff: Wednesday Edition

Rob Moseley has your Tuesday practice report and has Cal game notes.

Highlights: Now that Vernon Adams Jr. is 100 percent, the team passing period to close practice is maybe the most entertaining period of the day. This morning, the period featured a beautiful deep ball to Dwayne Stanford in the end zone, and a laser over the middle that Darren Carrington hauled in with one hand. … Adams and Devon Allen did a nice job of getting on the same page after a miscommunication on a route during the tempo period that opened practice. They were in sync the rest of the day, with touchdown passes in the first 11-on-11 period against scouts and again in the ensuing 7-on-7 session. … Adams also had a touchdown pass to Chris Tewhill that was remarkably similar to the ball to Bralon Addison in the third overtime at Arizona State. Pretty much the exact same spot in the back of the end zone...

Justin Wise says the quarterbacks will be the main attraction at Autzen Stadium on Saturday.

■ Ugo Amadi talked with the media after practice yesterday.

■ Gary Campbell says he isn't going anywhere (like retiring) now that he is the longest continuously serving coach at the FBS level.
