Duck Stuff: Thursday Edition

Rob Moseley has your Wednesday practice report.

USC on Saturday (12:30 p.m., ESPN), Oregon may not be able to focus its defensive effort so much on one element of the game.

“They’re very balanced,” UO defensive coordinator Don Pellum said. “Great running attack, excellent receivers, great quarterback. They’re more balanced than teams we’ve faced.”

■ Christopher Keizur shares his players/matchups to watch for the game this weekend.

Will Denner examines our DL and believes some of the young guys are getting valuable reps.

Tyson Alger says Darren Carrington uses a combination of chemistry and conditioning to get wide open.

■ Andrew Greif wonders if Oregon has the best running back in college football now that he has been selected as a semi-finalist for the Doak Walker Award.

When you read the description of USC players, it sure sounds like Oregon players as well.
