■ Ken Goe has three keys if Oregon is going to upset Stanford.
■ My prediction: Oregon 45 - Stanford 42
■ Dale Newton previews the game later today.
Oregon’s offensive line had its best game last week. They ran on the Cal Bears for 477 yards. If they can push the pile for half that many against Stanford it would be huge. The Ducks need to get Royce Freeman some running room. They need second and five. And they need Vernon Adams to be loose, improvisational, creative and resourceful without making bad decisions with the football. Possessions are precious against Stanford, which leads the league in time of possession at over 35 minutes a game. The Ducks simply can’t waste them.
