Duck Stuff: Saturday Edition

■ Ted Miller talks about the improbable win against ASU and Rob Moseley says the big plays made the difference.

Will this nutty game serve as a launching point for Oregon's return to relevance? Maybe. Though the Ducks are far from perfect, starting with a porous defense, they have the playmakers on offense to at least make things interesting.

If they are going to play a few more like this one, they might need to make defibrillators widely available in the stadium.

■ Ken Goe calls Oregon's win over ASU terrific entertainment and Scott Frost talked with the press after the game.

■ The Oregonian has fan reaction after the dramatic finish to the game Thursday night.

Duck Stuff: Thursday Edition

■ Chantel Jennings talks about the bye-week extra work.

"It's just a ton of education," Oregon coach Mark Helfrich said of his team's bye week activities. "We're just playing so many young guys in key positions or guys who haven't played that much, we're hammering home certain elements."

Andrew Greif takes a look at the remaining schedule and wonders if the Ducks can become bowl eligible.

Duck Stuff: Tuesday Edition

Chantel Jennings says Oregon is the team we have been waiting for now that Vernon Adams is back.

Oregon is a better team -- a team that looks more like Oregon teams we've become accustomed to -- with a player like Adams at quarterback. He didn’t turn the ball over and kept the offense on the field more than any other guy the Ducks tried in his absence.

■ Andrew Greif compares the numbers between Oregon and ASU and talks about Royce Freeman re-setting the U of O record books.

■ Bralon Addison was named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll for Week 7 of the college football season.

Duck Stuff: Monday Edition

Andrew Greif talks about Oregon's being able to finish the game against the dawgs.

"A lot of these kids who've been playing haven't been around here for too long and I don't think they have the 'killer instinct' confidence that we've had in the past, and maybe some veteran guys would have because they've been through some of these games," offensive coordinator Scott Frost said Saturday. "To get this kind of win under our belt after being so close a a couple other times and not making it happen, I think this will be healthy for everyone."

Mark Helfrich talked to the media on his weekly coach's call.

Ken Goe talks about what Vernon Adams playing means to the team.

All of the stuff that made Oregon so cutting edge -- the space-age offense, the swagger, the uniform combinations -- looks sad and a little desperate now.

Duck Stuff: Sunday Edition

Rob Moseley goes over Mark Helfrich's teleconference comments as the Ducks prepare for the Cougars.

On QB reps: “It depends on, and again at that or any position, guys are going to be at various percentages of availability throughout the week,” Helfrich said. “This guy is whatever percent, this guy is whatever percent, and then that will dictate reps from there.”

■ Justin Wise also shares questions and answers from Helfrich as does Andrew Greif.
