Duck Stuff: Tuesday Edition

Rob Moseley has your Monday practice report and Scott Frost talks with the media after practice.

“I feel bad for Vernon,” UO offensive coordinator Scott Frost said. “We don’t talk about injuries around here, but he wasn’t at his best in that game. That’s not an excuse; you won’t find one game in college football where there isn’t someone that’s partially hurt. But that was a big stage for him to be on and not be full-speed, and I thought he performed pretty well.”

■ Ken Goe believes Oregon won't have much competition against Georgia St.

■ Bralon Addison was been named the Pac-12 special teams player of the week yesterday.

...Bralon Addison is back. He showed off his wheels, returning a punt 81 yards for a touchdown. He finished the day with four returns for 98 yards. He also added seven receptions for 138 yards, giving him 236 all-purpose yards...

We're getting ready for the Bralon show this year. And...I think Vernon learned some valuable lessons. Hopefully he's gelling with his teammates and his confidence. And hopefully the staff is taking into account his considerable skills as they create game plans. It seemed like his versatility hasn't been on display...why get a guy like that and not use his versatility?
