Duck Stuff: Thursday Edition

Rob Moseley has your Wednesday practice report and Don Pellum answered questions the media had after practice.

...Vernon Adams threw two touchdown passes to Evan Baylis, Royce Freeman found the end zone as a rusher and receiver, and Taj Griffin ran for a couple of scores. The scouts won a rep when safety Dylan Kane picked off an Adams pass, just as he did in last week’s scrimmage. … Along with Seisay, Ivan Faulhaber had an interception today. Tui Talia had a sack and teamed with Eddie Heard on a tackle for loss. For the scouts on that side, Travis Jonsen worked the ball to his tight ends effectively, including a nifty shovel pass at one point...

ESPN Pac-12 bloggers have ten bold prediction for this year.

■ Andrew Greif wonders how Vernon Adams will respond against his former team.

■ Tyson Alger talks about Jeff Lockie being the backup to Vernon Adams.

■ Mark Flores has the latest on recruiting.

Dale Newton talks about "filling shoes" of those who have left the program.

Nobody has to fill anybody else’s shoes, no matter how many times the TV commentators say it. They just have to fit into their own, and hit the ground running.

The article that uses Costa as a comparison is spot-on.
