“There’s not wholesale changes necessary, and we’re not going to go away from what we do,” UO coach Mark Helfrich said Sunday. “If you’re in this sport long enough, last night happens. How we react to that is under our control. … When things aren't going great everybody wants to point the finger, but we are definitely an outfit that is going to keep that internal and make the adjustments and go."

Back in the days of Joey, it was fun to watch Oregon football because every outcome wasn't guaranteed. We may be reentering that reality, and it's fine. Or that may have been a hiccup. Either way, this team isn't falling off the planet—they're just a little more like everybody else now.

Fans act like we should win every game. No sport has those kinds of results. I will take Oregon's record the past 10 years. One of the best in the nation the past 5 years. Whinners need to sthu!
