Duck Stuff: Wednesday Edition

■ David Lombardi takes a closer look at the "replacements" for those that have left the football program.

Jeff Lockie enjoyed a productive spring, while transfer Vernon Adams -- who put up big numbers in two games against Pac-12 competition while at Eastern Washington -- is one hurdle away from arriving in Eugene. The winner of their camp competition will be asked to play point guard and distribute the ball to a loaded stable of Oregon offensive weapons.

I think I need to watch some Vernon highlight videos so I can get excited about him. I just have a feeling that there will be a pretend competition all summer/fall, but he's the guy getting the job.
