Duck Stuff: Friday Edition

■ Kevin Gemmell asks the Pac-12 bloggers their opinion of Ted Miller's assumption that the Pac-12 South will overtake the North,  but they have different ideas.

...Until one of those aforementioned five shows itself capable of surviving the grind of the season with enough to topple the North in the title game, then the road still goes through Eugene or Palo Alto.

■ Chantel Jennings talks about two-way stars in the Pac-12 and has Charles Nelson on her list and then says graduate transfers bring instant competition, like Vernon Adams.

■ Autzen Stadium made the list of the 15 best game-day experiences, but we already knew that.

■ It was a good start for former and current Ducks at the USA Championships at Hayward Field yesterday. Action resumes today.

Joseph Young was selected 43rd overall yesterday at the NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers.

■ Oregon athletics finished 13th overall, their highest ever in the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup.

I'm embarrassed for them that they put USC ahead of Oregon on the stadium list. Really? A bunch of posers?
