Duck Stuff: Friday Edition

■ Wade Evanson says that presuming Vernon Adams will be our next starting quarterback is not realistic after Jeff Lockie had a stellar spring game and impressed during spring practices.

...His familiarity, coupled with his performance in last weekend’s Spring Game, amount to a level of trust likely insurmountable by Adams or any other quarterback with merely a month to prove his worth.

■ Kyle Bonagura also looks at the QB battle between Lockie and Adams.

■ Ashley Young says going for 2 points after a TD is just a numbers game.

■ Kenny Jacoby looks at the baseball records Mitchell Tolman has either set or is getting close to breaking.

Tolman has never been drafted to a professional team, but could hear his name called come the MLB Draft on June 8. Should he play out his senior season, he’d likely shatter multiple school records and cement his place among the greatest Ducks to take the field.
