Duck Stuff

Tyson Alger takes a closer look at two-sport DB Charles Nelson and his busy schedule.

Over the weekend, he made his debut, finishing third in the long jump and fifth in the 100-meter dash, four spots behind football teammate Tony Brooks-James at the Pepsi Invitational.

But as Nelson attempted to explain how he's balancing time between football and track and school and an increasingly nonexistent social life, Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost interrupted.

"First pick! First pick!" Frost said to Nelson as he walked by.

If we come out and win this year, I wonder if that will be the final statement of our belonging among the elite...lost a Heisman, and still compete...that's pretty elite.
