Duck Stuff

Max Thornberry says Chris Seisay is setting the tone for the Ducks secondary this spring.

The competition among the defensive backs has been tight according to Seisay who told us “Everyone is trying to make plays.” With questions surrounding the secondary more than any other position — except perhaps quarterback — it would be expected that everyone is putting everything on the field right now.

■ Daniel Kantor talked with Don Pellum recently about the highs and lows for the defense this spring.

■ Oregon took the Civil War series yesterday at PK Park winning 10-9. Natalie Hardwicke took game photos.

Eight of Oregon's nine starting position players reached base and seven had at least one hit as the Ducks enjoyed their most prolific day at the plate in Pac-12 play this season.

Up Next: The Ducks play Wednesday at Portland before resuming Pac-12 play Friday at USC.
