■ Forrest Welk believes Rodney Hardrick will be one of the defensive leaders this year.
“I’ve always been the most vocal, trying to bring more guys along,” explained Hardrick, “[I’m] handing out some responsibility to them so we can all come together as a group.”
If Hardrick succeeds in bringing the Ducks linebackers together, their depth will pose a major problem for opposing offenses looking to impose their will on the Ducks. One can hope that the senior will go all-out to make his last year as a Duck his best.
