Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Oregon finished on top of the final 2014 Pac-12 power rankings.

The sting of Monday night's loss will linger, and not just that the Ducks lost, but how they lost -- by being physically overpowered and allowing 246 rushing yards to Ezekiel Elliott. It's the same criticism that has haunted the Ducks for years. That said, Oregon was the No. 1 team in the Pac-12 and more than worthy of the top ranking in the league.

Arik Armstead has declared for the NFL draft.

We were battling the idea of Oregon being soft when Joey went up against long as you spread the field, no matter how physical you are, your philosophy will be deemed as soft. Perception is reality. It doesn't matter...we have to get better at what we do...just like other teams can't prepare for our style of play in a week, we also can't prepare for their style of play.
