Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Marcus Mariota became the first Oregon player to win the Heisman Trophy yesterday and it was well deserved.

The honor capped a postseason awards week in which Mariota won four national player of the year honors and two quarterback awards, making this by far the most decorated season ever for a Duck.

Rob Mullens called it a moving acceptance speech.

"It was moving," UO athletic director Rob Mullens said of the speech. "The whole room was crying. I'm sitting facing the stage, I've got tears in my eyes, I'm looking at a camera man who's not even watching and he's wiping tears from his eyes."
