Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Friday practice report.

Scout-team scrimmage: [Ty] Griffin’s long run might have gone for a touchdown at full speed. The other potential scoring play was a pass by Mahalak to Casey Eugenio, who slipped a tackle and took off downfield. … Tony James and Isaac Ava each got the better of each other on a couple reps. Ava swallowed up James at the line on a run play to start the 10-minute scrimmage period. Later, James was running toward the sideline, Ava had the angle to push him out of bounds, but James quickly cut back inside and continued upfield.  … Glen Ihenacho came flying up from the secondary to stop one run play, and Issac Dixon forced a fumble on another. Jalen Jelks was involved in a couple other run stops near the line of scrimmage.

■ Tyson Alger has five things to watch during the game today. Other stories along this same line from Joseph Hoyt, Charles Fisher and Randy Morse.

Andrew Greif previews the Utah game and the stretch run.

Ken Goe talks about the easy path to a win today over Utah.

Ryan Kostecka says we will learn how physical the Ducks really are in the game today.
