Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Friday practice report.

Highlights: Rushing yards are usually hard to come by in these periods, and today was no exception. Tony James did have one nice breakaway run, getting to the sideline and upfield before being pushed out of bounds by Jalen Jelks. … That was nice pursuit by the defensive end Jelks, who followed up that hustle play with a sack on the next rep. … Two gutsy plays led to one reception, with Morgan Mahalak rolling to his left and throwing back to the middle of the field into a tight window, where Will Genske made the catch despite absorbing a hit from Khalil Oliver, who immediately tossed him to the ground...

■ Tyson Alger, Chantel Jennings and Andrew Greif give you five things to watch for during the game today

■ Josh Schlichter says the game today will be our biggest challenge this season when it comes to Stanford's defense.

■ Steve Summers previews the game today against Stanford.

■ Max Thornberry wonders if the third time will be charm for Marcus Mariota against Stanford.

■ A couple of records could fall today for Marcus Mariota and Royce Freeman.
