Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Wednesday practice report.

Highlights: The morning began with “clutch,” and like Tuesday, the first period featured a win by the No. 1 offense and then a response by the No. 2 defense. Marcus Mariota completed passes to Byron Marshall and Darren Carrington, setting up a 36-yard field-goal attempt that Matt Wogan converted. The twos moved the chains with a nifty catch-and-run on fourth down by Kenny Bassett, but Chris Seisay ended the possession with an interception three plays later. … The travel squad also went head-to-head in a full 11-on-11 period early in practice. DeForest Buckner and Derrick Malone Jr. made stops on run plays for the defense, while Mariota completed passes to Marshall and Pharaoh Brown to win reps for the offense...

Arik Armstead and Matt Wogan are expected to return from injuries on Saturday. Good news there for sure.
