Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Thursday practice report.

Scout-team scrimmage highlights: Play of the day was by quarterback Ty Griffin, who tucked the ball away on the fourth snap of the 10-minute period and ran around end for a touchdown. A player on the sideline approved: “That boy’s got wheels!” … The defense did a better job of containing Griffin the other times he opted to run. Michael Manns forced him out of bounds the next time, and Ivan Faulhaber got past an offensive tackle for a sack. … Haniteli Lousi had a block that helped spring Tony James for a long run. … Glen Ihenacho intercepted a pass, and fellow freshman safety Khalil Oliver broke up two others. … Jordan Kurahara had a sack, as he seems to do each week in these scrimmages.
