Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Thursday practice report.

Just a walk-through today, so no highlights to offer. … OK, one exception: After pre-practice stretch, Helfrich whistled for a one-shot field-goal attempt. Matt Wogan nailed the 38-yarder. … Redshirt freshman Evan Voeller, who made his debut late in the South Dakota game, has been rotating in with the twos at guard the last couple days.

■ Andrew Greif shares his thoughts on the matchup with MSU this weekend.

Tyson Alger gives you five things to watch for on Saturday.

■ Rory Davidson talks about how to combat the Spartans.

■ Josh Schlichter talks about Michigan States defense and the chess match that will likely ensue.

■ Ten true freshmen played last weekend, an unprecedented number.

■ The ESPN Pac-12 bloggers are split with their Oregon vs MSU predictions.

GO DUCKS!

I think our D will look better with a few fewer freshman in the mix...that's a lot. Also, it's not like we showed any of our cards vs. South Dakota...we'll see a whole new level of play calling this weekend. Word.
