Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Monday practice report.

The passing game was really sharp in 1-on-1 drills to start practice. Whether it was Mariota to Dwayne Stanford, Lockie to Keanon Lowe and Allen, Alie to Jalen Brown and Ayele Forde, Morgan Mahalak to Marshall or Griffin to Carrington, there were completions all over the place. … One exception was Brown, who had a couple uncharacteristic drops. He made up for them with a nice reception in 7-on-7, and then hauled in a touchdown from Mariota in 11-on-11.

■ ESPN has Marcus Mariota in the #1 spot in their Pac-12 QB Power Ranking and OregonLive has Oregon at #1 in their Pac-12 Power Rankings.

■ Ted Miller says the MSU game is laden with meaning.

■ Tyson Alger believes the physical game will be a matter of pride against MSU.

■ Gary Campbell said there was plenty to like from his running backs against SD but there is plenty to work on as well.

■ Nathan Roholt takes a closer look at Royce Freeman.

■ Dale Newton hopes the Ducks don't get fooled again when they take on the Spartans.

GO DUCKS!
