Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Chantel Jennings has a helmet sticker for Marcus Mariota.

The junior compiled quite the stat line in just under three quarters of play in the Ducks' 48-14 victory over Wyoming: Two passing touchdowns and 221 passing yards on 19-of-23 passing plus two rushing touchdowns and 71 rushing yards on five carries.

■ Oregon remains at #2 in this weeks AP poll.

■ Jason Quick talks about what it means to be "Men of Oregon".

■ Oregon remains at #1 in the Pac-12 Power Rankings.

Rob Moseley has all the details of Mark Helfrich's teleconference with reporters yesterday.

■ Ken Goe takes issue with the play where Marcus Mariota dove for a touchdown against Wyoming. (have to agree)

■ Dale Newton believes Oregon will need to tighten up as league play begins next week.

Oregon has always been built to outscore people, and this defense, which has played a lot of people through three games, has the athletic ability to make stops and get turnovers...The linebackers in particular need to make more plays...

Even unimpressive stat-lines for MM are still stellar. Word.
