Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Wednesday practice report.

Mark Helfrich wanted his guys plugged in right off the bat, and threw a “clutch” drill at them to start practice. The defense held serve with both the ones and twos on the field, in both cases forcing the offense to settle for field-goal attempts of 50-plus yards. (Neither was converted). DeForest Buckner had a sack to help stall the No. 1 offense, and the No. 2 group couldn't score despite moving the ball with a couple Jeff Lockie completions to Charles Nelson and Darren Carrington...

■ Andrew Greif had a chance to talk with a Wyoming beat reporter recently.

■ Marcus Mariota won a pair of national honors yesterday.

■ Tyrell Crosby isn't getting booed anymore after his stellar play.

ESPN has the scoop on the playoff dates and kickoff times this New Year season.

Dale Newton sees good things for the future of Duck football.

Oh man...I keep forgetting that we get to enjoy a playoff...I mean, I know it's happening, but it will be so much fun to watch!
