Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Rob Moseley has your Tuesday practice report.

An 11-on-11 period in the red zone featured an all-out assault on the end zone by Mariota’s group. Passes to Tyner, Keanon Lowe and Dwayne Stanford, runs by Tyner and Royce Freeman – it seemed like that group scored on nearly every rep. … On the defensive field, meanwhile, Tui Talia and Prevot forced an incompletion with their pressure, Joe Walker stuffed a running play, and Khalil Oliver hauled in a tipped ball for an interception.

■ GoDucks.com has all you need to know about the game against South Dakota on Saturday.

■ Chantel Jennings says the depth chart back up all the Royce Freeman hype.

■ Does Marcus Mariota have something to prove? (probably not in my opinion)

■ ESPN has some Pac-12 fearless predictions for 2014.

■ Will the officials slow down the tempo for the Ducks this year?

■ ATQ has Joey Harrington in the #2 spot in their "20 in 20" series.

■ Dale Newton says it's not if the Ducks win on Saturday but how they play the game.

Discipline, execution, fundamentals and focus. To be a success this year, the Ducks have to bring a quality of effort to every one of the 12 weekends of the regular season, and they have to practice like champions.

It’s the first opportunity to evaluate how they’re being coached, and how seriously they’re taking their mission.

GO DUCKS!
