Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley details the first scrimmage held during fall camp which started slow but picked up momentum.

Devon Allen took one to the house against the No. 3 punt team, and Johnathan Loyd did likewise on the first rep for the No. 1 punt return team. In between, Allen got behind the secondary and hauled in a long touchdown pass from Jeff Lockie.

■ Rob Moseley says Alex Balducci is the new man in the middle.

“If I don't do my job correctly, I’ve got offensive linemen on linebackers, and that screws up the whole defense,” said Balducci, a Portland native. “I’ve got to do that, and make plays behind the line of scrimmage as often as possible.”

GO DUCKS!
