Reed, the 140th pick in the June MLB Draft and announced the move on his Twitter account, was dominant in his limited action in Elizabethton. In four appearances, Reed recorded three saves, allowed one hit and struck out eight in six innings pitched. Opposing batters have hit a minuscule .053 off the La Mesa, Calif., native and he's dramatically clamped down on his walk count.
