Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Tyson Alger previews the Michigan St, game on Sept. 6th.

The Marcus Mariota led offense will need to find a clear rhythm in its Week 1 game against South Dakota and come out firing in Week 2 against Michigan State. The Spartans return five starters from a defense that allowed only 13.2 points per game last season, which means this will be a classic flash offense versus big defense affair.

■ Kevin Gemmell has your Pac-12 media days wrap-up.

■ Mark Helfrich talked with ESPN recently about the upcoming season.

■ David Piper @ATQ previews the week three game against Wyoming.

■ ATQ looks at the reasons behind Arik Armstead might be considered an archetype player.

■ Dale Newton thinks WR Keanon Lowe will need to step-up his game this year.

This season the Ducks need the versatile and hard-working senior to reach another level as a receiver.

GO DUCKS!

Dale is certainly right about Lowe.
