Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Many statistical leaders on defense are back for another shot in 2014 in the Pac-12.

■ Georgia Tech quarterback Ty Griffin has transferred to Oregon.

■ ATQ has Nick Reed at #11 in their "20 in 20" series.

■ Dale Newton gives you his thoughts on turbo charging the Oregon offense in 2014.

The real key to the next genesis of the Oregon offense, other than trusting in the accurate right arm, fleet feet and great decision-making of the country’s most complete quarterback, is a bold and simple principle:

Use Thomas Tyner and Byron Marshall in multiple roles.

GO DUCKS!

Dale's right, but we've never seen Oregon take that step. We had the potential to do this over the years with the stable of backs we always have...but it's more bread and butter than cinnamon toast for us so far.
