■ Dual sport WR Devon Allen continues to burn up the track as he won his preliminary heat at the USA Championships yesterday.

Allen, the NCAA champion, won his first-round heat of the 110 hurdles at the USA Track & Field Championships in 13.40 seconds to advance to Sunday's semifinals.

Dean Davis wonders who will replace Marcus Mariota.

■ Former Oregon legend Joey Harrington is raising money for charity as he is entered in the Battle at Bandon golf tournament.

Harrington and 23 other former Pac-12 stars made their way out to the Oregon coast for the Harrington Family Foundation's fourth annual Battle at Bandon Friday at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.
