Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Chantel Jennings says the Oregon secondary is confident this spring.

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu is the most experienced of that group (84 tackles and three interceptions in 2013), but [John] Neal said that Dargan has also had a very good spring, saying that the redshirt senior “could play any position -- he could play defensive tackle. He knows the defense that well.”

■ Oregon's backup kickers find ways to improve the team.

■ Taj Griffin, five-star running back out of the Powder Springs, GA,  verbally committed to the Ducks according to multiple sources.

■ Arik Armstead has taken out an insurance policy to protect his potential future earnings in the NFL just in case injury prevents him from having that opportunity.

■ Tyson Alger gives you  five things to watch for in the Civil War baseball series which starts later today.

GO DUCKS!
