Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Levi Steier believes the receivers are the key to the Ducks' explosive running game.

Oregon has been able to establish this culture and has developed receivers who are not only great playmakers when catching the ball, but great playmakers regardless of their assignment.  The result is the high number of explosion plays enjoyed by Duck fans on Saturdays.

■ Dale Newton thinks the Ducks are laying the groundwork for a dream season.

■ Oregon's walk-ons remain upbeat despite their unknown football fate.

■ Andrew Greif says the defense plans on being more disruptive this season.

■ Oregon baseball has some new shoes from Nike that Ken Griffey Jr. had a hand in.

Ken Griffey Jr. doesn't have many ties to Oregon, but apparently he's quite prominent on the feet of its baseball players.

The official Twitter account of the Oregon equipment staff posted a picture of the Ducks' Apple Green Nike Swingman 360 Pregame Turfs, a post that garnered more than 100 retweets within 30 minutes of posting.
