■ Rob Moseley reports the young centers are getting valuable reps this spring.

■ Brando Tessar matched a career high with eight strikeouts to lead No. 25 Oregon to a 3-0 win over Portland at Joe Etzel Field on Wednesday.

Oregon returns to action with a four home games in four days starting Friday. UO hosts UC Riverside in a three game series Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Ducks then host San Diego in a single game on Monday at 1 p.m.
