Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Oregon will take the sweep against Cal State Fullerton as a learning lesson as they look to improve as the season progresses.

The Titans finished off a three-game sweep Sunday, handing Oregon its second straight one-run loss, 5-4.

"We played well these last two days, we just need a little more to win, a couple breaks our way," said UO second baseman Aaron Payne, who had two opposite-field, RBI singles among his three hits Sunday.

■ Casey Fluegge takes a look at the O-line as we inch closer to spring practice.

Call them the Big Uglies, but what happens up front will ensure that college football’s highest octane offense remains a thing of beauty.  With the possible exception of quarterback, nowhere on Oregon’s roster is there more reason for optimism heading into the 2014 season than in the offensive line.

Oh, man...bummer about CSF, but it's so early in the year, it's not really indicative of where we may be headed this season.
