For the running backs; Thomas Tyner. The sophomore seemed to get better with each game in his debut season after recovering from an ankle injury in August. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry, scored nine touchdowns and his 66-yard burst against Washington State was the longest rush by a Duck last season. Can he play well enough to become an entrenched starter come fall, or will his speed and vision make him a back best used to change the pace against a defense?

Oregon falls to 18-8, 5-3 in Pac-12 play. The two teams will wrap up their three-game series on Saturday at 2 p.m. if weather permits. With rain expected, the game could be pushed back until Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.
