Mark Helfrich heaped all sorts of praise on Marcus Mariota's decision to come back for the 2014 season.

“We all got a little smarter the day he decided to come back, or a lot smarter,” he joked. “It really says a lot him and hopefully what our program means to guys like him. Marcus is a special guy. You just can’t say enough about his character. When you talk to experts, to turn down an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to come back and finish his business is a huge deal.”
