Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Andrew Greif talks about who is turning heads as winter conditioning continues for the football team. Here is a quote from DE Tony Washington.

Tyree Robinson (entering redshirt freshman season at defensive back): "Coming off his redshirt he can help us a lot not just on defense but special teams as well. I think he has his mind right, he’s been working hard all year and we can see."

■ Dale Newton has some thoughts on the Andrew Greif story we linked to yesterday on Don Pellum.

■ Rusty Ryan @ATQ has a few more thoughts on the "slow-down" proposed rule by the NCAA.

■ Oregon will look to improve on their 4-0 start this season when they travel to Loyola Marymount tomorrow for a three game series.

■ Tyson Alger says speed evens out a lack of power for the baseball team.

“For us, the answer is going to be clearly about being more athletic,” assistant coach Mark Wasikowski said. “We can run the bases pretty well. We did that very well in Hawaii. We look to continue to do that as a staple of (coach George Horton’s) program.”

GO DUCKS!

Konrady should go watch Oregon at Loyola this weekend, since he pitched for them for four years. Word.
