Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud confirmed what we already knew, long time position coach Don Pellum has officially been announced as the new defensive coordinator for the Ducks.

Ted Miller likes the continuity of the Pellum hire and here is a short video with the announcement from Pellum himself.

Rob Moseley says Don Pellum will use what has worked in the past along with some fresh ideas of his own.

■ Mark Flores has the latest on Duck football recruiting.

Former Oregon LB Kiko Alonso (Buffalo Bills) was named the defensive rookie of the year by the Pro Football Writers of America yesterday.

The second-round pick out of Oregon led the Bills in interceptions with four and finished third in the NFL in tackles with 159 stops. His strong play as a rookie earned him near mythical status on social media, with fans using the popular #LegendOfKikoAlonso hashtag on Twitter. Alonso also finished with two sacks, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries...
