Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Saturday practice report.

Highlights: After a few days off, there were a couple guys huffing and puffing today. But De'Anthony Thomas certainly had his legs under him, breaking off at least three long gains on runs or short passes. … Cameron Hunt got to the second level for a block that sprung one of DAT's big plays. … Defensively, Tyrell Robinson had a nice hit for a "tackle" on a screen pass, and Reggie Daniels came up with an interception. Unofficially, I feel like Daniels could challenge the likes of Terrance Mitchell for the lead in practice interceptions this season. … Though a receiver wasn't able to make the catch, Jake Rodrigues had a great throw deep down the sideline, zipping it between two defensive backs.

■ Here is the full version of Tyler Johnstone and SnowBrawl2013 between the football team and students on Friday.

■ Our chances for a fifth straight BCS game were dashed as Michigan St. upset Ohio St. The most likely scenario pits Oregon vs. Texas in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 30. Dale NewtonSeth Prince and other pundits agree but we'll find out soon enough.

GO DUCKS!
