Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Monday practice report.

Highlights: The day began with a “clutch” situation for the placekicking unit and Matt Wogan. They responded by drilling a 37-yard field goal. … Pharaoh Brown has some sticky, sticky hands. During one-on-ones he turned back to catch a pass and literally just palmed it with one hand. … A couple of absolute dimes from seven-on: touchdowns by Mariota to Bralon Addison, and Jeff Lockie to Chance Allen. Mariota hit Addison in the back of the end zone, over a leaping safety at the goal line, making for a very small window in which to complete the pass.

Ted Miller has Oregon back where they belong in the latest edition of the Pac-12 power rankings.

■ John Canzano had a little one-on-one time with Marcus Mariota on his radio show, podcast here.

Jason Quick talks about Mariota's knee which is almost back to 100%.

Charles Fisher analyzes a few plays from the Utah game.

Justin Wise has a Q&A session with Josh Huff.

Rusty Ryan @ATQ has a fun piece on why we love our Ducks and how big things have small beginnings.

■ All eyes are focused on Arizona this week even though USC did us a huge favor last Saturday.

The first order of business is Arizona (6-4, 3-4 Pac-12), which boasts the nation’s second-leading rusher in junior Ka’Deem Carey and an experienced and physical defense.

Oregon coach Mark Helfrich has always preached the “one-game-at-a-time” approach, and he said this college football season should provide enough warning to his team that no victory is ever a given.

Gonna flex our muscles vs. Arizona. Big win coming for Oregon.
