Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ It's good to be back to our winning ways as the Ducks beat the Utes 44 -21. Marcus didn't run but he didn't need to. De'Anthony's kickoff return seemed to energize the team in the third quarter and Oregon cruised after that. Our win coupled with Stanford's loss put us back in the drivers seat in the Pac-12 North. Win out and it's back to the Rose Bowl.

Lots of articles so we'll get started: Steve Summers called it a second half rout; Robby Boydstun says the Ducks responded on both sides of the ball in the second half; Jason Quick breaks down the game; Andrew Greif states Mariota's right arm is enough to win most Pac-12 games; Rob Moseley liked the stout defense, Mariota's arm and has a postgame notebookJoey Holland, Jake Tabor and Dale Newton provide their perspective; the New York Times, ESPN and round out the game stroies.

■ Michael Arellano, Andrew Seng, and Ryan Kang took some nice photos during the game.

I will be back later today with a highlight video so stay tuned.
