Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Friday practice report.

Today was the Ducks’ “Fast Friday,” when they run through offense, defense and special teams scenarios with almost no contact, but at a quick tempo. … It was chilly and overcast for practice this morning. The forecast for today and tomorrow in Denver is all over the map, though it’s expected to be pleasant for the game Saturday in Boulder. As Mark Helfrich has told the team repeatedly, of course, whatever the conditions, they’ll be “perfect.”

■ Jason Quick, Andrew Greif and Ryan Kostecka preview the game today and sound like they favor Oregon heavily.

Dale Newton and Andrew Greif give you their keys to the game.

Bob Laws has a pregame analysis of the game today and wonders if the Colorado run defense can stop the Oregon run offense.

■ I will go out on a limb here and say Oregon wins. Final: Oregon 65 - Colorado 7

Ted Miller wonders "did you know?"

Oregon has 31 touchdown drives this season, and 26 of those drives have taken two minutes or less. That’s the most such touchdown drives in FBS; Baylor (23) is the only other team with more than 15 such drives this season.

I wonder what the spread is on this's really not even fair to call this a Pac-12 matchup. Colorado is silly-bad, and we are silly-good.
