Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Thursday practice report.

Last week at Colorado, the Ducks by their own admission came out flat. The Buffaloes compounded that with some early trick plays to seize momentum, though Oregon ultimately woke up and took a 29-10 lead after the first quarter.

“I thought we had a really good week of practice, but as the kickoff approached, there was just a different feel to our guys,” Helfrich said today following the Ducks’ walk-through. “We talked about it, and hopefully we've remedied that situation.”

■ Hroniss Grasu will have his hands full trying to deal with UW nose tackle Danny Shelton.

■ Josh White gives you the top five factors to complete the decade of dominance over the Dawgs.

■ Dale Newton thinks it will be a close game on Saturday and some Ducks fans might be a little over confident.

■ Ken Goe has five questions for Adam Jude of the Seattle Times.

■ Andrew Greif says the UW RB Bishop Sankey has the attention of the Duck defense.

Kevin Gemmell and Ted Miller predict and Oregon win over Washington.

Miller: Husky Stadium will be rocking, and Washington is perfectly capable of pushing the Ducks. Keith Price could make himself a true UW legend by leading a winning effort, but we suspect it will be Ducks QB Marcus Mariota getting the ultimate star -- Heisman? -- turn. It's going to be 10 in a row for the Ducks, but it won't be by at least 17 points. Oregon 35, Washington 24.

GO DUCKS!

Dale makes a lot of good points, but I just have a feeling that it's not really going to be that close. I honestly think we are just that much better than everybody else, sans Alabama. But I'm excited for a Top-25 matchup, and College GameDay!
