Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley has your Wednesday practice report.

The final team period prior to that also featured some entertaining stuff. Brian Jackson had interceptions on back-to-back plays, leaping for a ball over his head and then diving for one that was under thrown. Joe Walker and Ben Butterfield also had interceptions. Over on the offensive half of the field, Marshall showed off his agility by hopping over some traffic at the line on a long gain, and Jeff Lockie had a couple nice completions to Pharaoh Brown and Chance Allen.

De'Anthony wants to be 100% ready before he returns to game action and he isn't quite there yet so his status for the Washington game is unsure at this time.

■ Andrew Greif believes the Ducks' third-down defense will be key against Washington.

Jason Quick lists his top ten Ducks vs Huskies moments.

Benzduck doesn't want anyone to forget (Slick Rick) one of the reasons the Dawgs are despised by Oregon fans.

Dale Newton wonders if Joey Harrington's recent statement that "Marcus Mariota is the best QB to put on a Duck uniform" is a fair statement.

Very nice story about Hroniss Grasu's family and how the legacy of his Grandfather lives on.

Oregon vs Washington St. home game has been set for 7 pm local time and will air on Fox Sports 1 Oct. 19.

■ Kyle Bonagura says the road games have been kind to Oregon.

They haven't lost a non-neutral-site game away from home since Nov. 7, 2009 at Stanford -- a national-best span of 17 games.

Joey's just being humble...he still reigns supreme. He brought us to where we've never been...a BCS bowl team that wins big games, and finished #2. Now it's Marcus' turn to take us where we've never been and rightfully claim his seat at the throne. When a crystal football is handed to Mr. Mariota, he will become the best ever.
